About Me

My name is Abasha Trotter. I am married, and I have worked in retail since I finished studies at Peninsula Technicon in 1989.

My passion for sales was ignited very early in my life when as a child of 6/7, I had to help my mother in her general dealership over weekends. I enjoyed the buzz of interacting with clients and serving to their needs. The confidence gained through this weekend ‘job’ served me well during my primary and high school sojourn, where I was able to be part of the student leadership bodies, and where I also excelled at sport, namely volleyball where I gained provincial and national colours.

After school, I started working in the retail industry. Here, I soon established myself as a ‘go-getter’-someone who was focused on service excellence, superior customer care, meeting, and exceeding targets set and inspiring the workers under my management to aspire to achieve the same high standards that I demanded of myself.

In all the various companies that employed me -which included Sterns, Forchini, American Swiss, Truworths, and Galaxy Jewellers in various cities and towns in the Eastern Cape, and in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga I was consistently the top store in the area and amongst the top earning stores of the companies in South Africa.

In addition, living in China for two years and experiencing varied retail sales experiences in Thailand also added to my insights and skills, thereby making me an even more effective manager and service provider.

Given the fantastic new opportunity to be a Real Estate Practioner, I look forward to giving my best - all my passion, experience, enthusiasm and professionalism to the clients whom I will enable to buy and/ or sell their property.
