What makes Pringle Bay a great suburb?
Pringle Bay is a small coastal town and is within 90 minutes from Cape Town and the airport and about 40 minutes from Somerset West and Hermanus. The town has expanded dramatically over the last few years, but we still pride ourselves on our "small town feel & values." If you love living close to nature, but not too far from the city, then Pringle Bay is for you. Rooi Els is about 5 minutes from Pringle Bay and is serviced by the same office. Rooi Els is an exclusive coastal town with only 324 stands and offers the same small town feel of Pringle Bay. Available properties in the area range from older to new & modern homes. A large percentage of the stands are large enough to ensure more privacy from neighbors.
The typical Pringle Bay buyer
The average buyers vary greatly. It is an almost even split between International, Cape Townian and upcountry buyers. The trend in the last few years has also been for younger families to buy in Pringle Bay because of the safety and easy living.
Price overview of Pringle Bay
Vacant stands sell from about R450 000 and houses from about R1,3m
Popular in Pringle Bay
We are literally surrounded by Nature Reserves and have a Eco Primary School in town. For High school, most of the kids go to Hermanus or Somerset West, both are less than an hour from Pringle Bay. Shopping is either done at the local shop, Kleinmond(20 minutes) or Somerset West(40 minutes).
My Pringle Bay tip
Houses below R2m are in short supply, prices are still climbing despite the current economy.
