Michael Hauser joined RE/MAX Living in October 2017, in his first year at RE/MAX he came 5th for turnover nationally and 2nd position in the Western Cape and in March 2021 was... awarded 1st position for the Western Cape. For the past four years he received 'Diamond status'. Previously Michael Hauser worked for 28 years at Seeff, he won numerous awards and received a Lifetime awards for his services. He promoted South African properties internationally to the German speaking countries. He attended several international exhibitions in Berlin, Zurich, London and within South Africa. Michael was president of the Swiss Social & Sports Club for 15 years and then another 5 doing Public Relations & Sponsorship. In 2018 he was awarded Honorary Membership of the Swiss Club Michael has been a founding member of the local Neighbourhood Watch and is a member of the German Chamber of Commerce In September 2018 Michael together with the Swiss Consulate founded Swiss Connection Cape Town (SCCT) www.swiss-connection.info – a networking platform in the greater Cape Town area Michael was born in Cape Town. When he was five years old the family went back to Zurich where he grew up. From 1985 to 1987 he worked on the Stock Exchange in Geneva for UBS, one of the leading Swiss banks. With his wife Andrea he moved end of 1987 to South Africa, Andrea works as a freelance tourist guide. They have two children who now are living in Zurich.
