American talk-show host Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi are well-known property investors and their new Balinese-influenced home in the exclusive Montecito, California is another stunner.

Their new home was built in 2011 and is spread out over 8,188-square feet of pure luxury. The couple picked up the home at $27-million - a bargain considering the home was originally on the market for $40-million.

Situated on 8.24 acres of land, the home boasts with five bedrooms and ten bathrooms, bamboo ceiling, flamed black limestone, and distressed oak floors. The veranda features a fire-pit and an outside dining area.

As if five bedrooms aren't enough there is also an added guesthouse, complete with two en-suite bedrooms, a kitchen, and a detached office.

The private cabana tucked away by the pool also features a gym and changing facilities. The property also comes with a coveted infinity pool which looks out to an incredible view of the local area.
