The water then runs through the ultra filtration membranes into 2 x 5000lt tanks from where a pressure pump feeds all the taps in the house.
In case there is no rain, we pump water from the Karatara River into a 10 000lt underground tank, treated and then run through the ultra filtration membranes of tap water.
Drinking water:
Another 5000lt tank catches rain water from the carport and receives the pumped rainwater from the outbuildings in order to get ultra filtered. This then runs through the reverse osmosis membranes into containers and obtain totally purified drinking water.
