Production takes place on the adjacent Zevenwacht Wine Estate with an on-site cellar boasting a 1000-ton capacity. Yields have been stable over the past 5 years with an approximate annual crop of 40 tons.
CLIMATE
The farm lies between 100m and 300m above sea level with predominant winter rainfall best classified as a Mediterranean climate. Rainfall is estimated at around 700mm per annum.
SOIL
Soil profiles comprise of weathered sandstone, decomposed granite and sandy loam combinations. These types of soils are generally well suited for wine grape cultivation and add to the complexity of the wine with specific reference to the Stellenbosch terroir.
