The City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality fomally approved the application for township establishment on 20 July 2017 in terms of the provisions of Section 98(1) of the Town Planning and Townships Ordinance, 1986 (Ordinance 15 of 1986), subject to the conditions contained in the approval letter and township layout plan.
