This 965-hectare farm, located just outside Hoedspruit, boasts various buildings including standard dwellings, a porch, a lapa, kitchen, rondawel, garage, laundry, staff single quarters, old sheds, and a pumphouse.
It features extensive macadamia orchards spanning over 73.1 hectares, with allocated water from the Klaserie River and recently acquired water totaling 66.5 hectares.
The property also includes water extraction rights from a seasonal stream and equipped and unequipped boreholes. With an annual rainfall of 800-900mm/year, the farm is engaging with more water users for irrigation purposes.
Electricity connections from Eskom are available for various purposes on the farm.
The property's financial statement and movable assets can be made available upon request.
Additional features include the potential for orchard expansion, farming without irrigation in certain areas, equipped pumphouse with VSD drives, and cycad trees. The farm is in the process of fencing and relocating steel structures. It has approval for increased dam capacity and ongoing negotiations for further expansion, with no additional fees for current development.

Allocated water from the Klaserie River. 15.4 Ha
Recently acquired water. 30.0 Ha
Lease agreement ready to be signed but on hold,
Busy with negotiations to acquire the water permanently. 21.1 Ha
The Farm, over the years has extracted water from a seasonal
stream, this right (ELU) will need to be addressed in the next
step (EIA) to expand the orchards by another 300Ha +/- 15.0 Ha
1 Equipped borehole - supply dwellings and gardens, 10,000l/h
4 Unequipped boreholes, varies 3,000 - 6,000 L/h
Annual rainfall is between 800-900mm/year
We are, as an ongoing process engaging with more water users
Water is underutilized in the scheme as most users have converted
to game farming. It will take time but is possible.
Water is being pumped approx. 5 km away from the Klaserie river.
We are further at an advanced stage of negotiations, to connect to
a newly planned pipeline (5km) higher up in the river. This will
eliminate almost all pumping costs. The idea has been approved by the Irrigation Board.
More storage capacity needs to be provided for on the farm as we are
allowed to pump as much water as needed whilst the Klaserie dam is
overflowing. This extra water is not measured against our quota.
The newly increased dam capacity is now at approx. 180,000m3
when full. The wall could be raised by a further 1 m in height.
Also, 2 concrete dams at the dwellings for irrigation, Tot: 320,000L
Movable Assets:
Annexure "A" - Can be made available (NDA)
Electricity:
1 x 50 kVa Eskom connection for the Klaserie river pump.
1 x 100 kVa Eskom connection for the Pumphouse.
1 x 50 kVa Eskom connection for the dwellings and sheds.
1 x 25 kVa Eskom connection for the borehole.
Financial Statement:
Annexure "B" - Can be made available (NDA)
Other:
Steel Structures (sheds) still needs to be relocated and erected on the farm; this is not included in the price.
75m x 19m x 8m (Corrugated sheeting will need replacement)
50m x 14m x 5m (Corrugated sheeting will need replacement)
24m x 13m x 4m
The farm will need to be fenced off; the current fence is of no use.
The orchards can be increased to approx. 250Ha with the current water available.
Given the tropical climate and higher rainfall than the rest of the area, makes it also
possible to farm Macadamias without irrigation. This should be investigated given
the usable area on the farm, production will on those areas be compromised but still
worth it.
The pumphouse consist of 3 pumps, of which 2 are equipped with VSD drives.
The panel is already wired to be connected to an automated irrigation system.
There are many cycad trees planted that are also not included in the price.
The application to increase the dam capacity and the current development to date
has been approved with the final inspection conducted last week. There are
therefore no additional fees to be paid to legalise this proses.
The new EIA for the additional expansion will still have to be financed. The public participation process for this has been completed with no objection received.
