The lodge office is equipped with 2 walk-in safes & the appropriately spaced laundry is out of view.
The entirely walled Lapa outside yields even more African exclusivity and with 4 garages & 6 car canopies, there is always enough room for more guests.
The German style primary house overlooking two dams presenting breath-taking views, features 3 bedrooms, a study, colossal lounge, dining room, tv room & a double garage. The architecture affords subtle warmth in winter & a pleasant cool summer feel.
Closely situated to the lodge is a two-bedroom flat for the farm manager, which has its own Lapa.
A luxury tented camp is set on this Private Game Reserve traversing 2700 hectares. A river does run through it, perennial and stretching over 10km. The 4 Tents are fully equipped for self-catering and closely hug The Nest, a central gathering area servicing high-flying campers. Apart from enjoying a nice dinner around the campfire at night, during the day you can relax around the swimming pool & soak up the Southern African sunlight or unwind in the heated jacuzzi.
The adventure seekers may want to take a dip in the river or explore the river on a paddle boat or kayak. The network of 40 kms of Hiking Trails around the tented camp area just adds to the alure for the outdoorsy fun seekers. Each of the 4 guest tents bestows a safari experience that connects you with nature, mountain, river and wildlife.
On top of the mountain is a sundowner deck for a picnic or that tantalizing drink while watching the sunset across the Sterkrivier.
Guests can enjoy game drives, relaxing on the pool deck overlooking the river, fishing and meals prepared by the chef.
For photographers there is a great opportunity to take photos in the underground hide. For those planning to stay long & take award-winning photos, a fridge and a water point provides less of a ‘survival’ experience.
For the enthusiastic fishermen, there is opportunity to catch a selection from yellowfish, carp, bass, bubu and many more. Of the three big dams, one has a municipal cement dam wall of almost 150m wide, which was built in the 1980’s and is big enough to enjoy with jet skis and small boats. On the deck at the dam is a communal area & a swimming pool, 3 heated jacuzzies, a kitchen with 3 phase electricity, a storeroom & ablution.
What more can one possibly expect:
The 7ha of deforested land poses the opportunity for freshly produced crops. With the profusion of water, the available soil can be utilized.
Separate from accommodation buildings but included on the farm is a warehouse with slaughter facilities for producing carcass meat. The setup height is sufficient for wildlife as big as giraffe.
An equestrian facility with 3 stables for horses adds to the list of activity prospects.
For the 10 labourers, there are ablution facilities & 5 workers’ huts.
A 7x25m WORKSHOP stands ready for all farm implements.
This prised game farm is 3 hours from Johannesburg & only 1 hour from Polokwane, in the Waterberg.
Two entries make for easy access from both sides together with a servitude road to the main entrance.
The lodge kitchen offers generous workspace & cold rooms.
