The erf is very close to the popular and very scenic Duiwelsgat nature trail that traverses the coast at De Kelders, from the Klipgat caves at Walkerbay Nature Reserve in the north to the Gansbaai Caravan Park in the south. The trail is about 7km long and provides access to De Kelders beach as well as Stanfords Cove.
The area is a popular Eco-tourism destination, with activities such as Shark Cage Diving and Whale Watching on offer. Gansbaai is 39km away from Hermanus and about 150km from Cape Town International Airport.
